Cardi’s Furniture & Arpin Van Lines to Collect Items for Sandy Relief

In response to the devastation left in Hurricane Sandy's path, Cardi's Furniture in MA and RI and Arpin Van Lines will collect items to be brought down to New Jersey & New York for immediate distribution to families who are in need.

The items that are being accepted are:

  •          Winter Clothes (New or Like New) Women's, Men's, Children's, Boy's, Girl's: Jackets, coats, hats gloves, socks, sweatshirts, sweatpants.
  •          Blankets
  •          Baby Clothing (Infant & Toddler)
  •          Canned Goods
  •          Bottled Water
  •          Baby formula
  •          Diapers
  •          Toiletries (Please bring donation in Clear Zip-Lock Bag)
  •          Personal & Feminine Hygiene Products

The drive will take place from 7am to 2pm at the Cardi's Furniture locations in:

             ?    West Warwick, RI                        
             ?    South Attleboro, MA
             ?    Swansea, M                                
             ?    Braintree, MA

Upon conclusion of the drive, Arpin Van Lines will immediately begin driving the trucks to women's jackets distribution points in New Jersey & New York.

Smaller-Based Drives are invited to bring items collected (similar to list above) to any of the Cardi's Drop-Off Points this Friday from 7am to 2pm for inclusion in delivery to New York & New Jersey. Monetary donations will be accepted for the American Red Cross and be designated for "Sandy Relief Efforts."

Cardi's Furniture & Arpin Van Lines have done relief drives in the past including 22 tractor trailers to areas affected by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and in 2010 they were able to send 10 trailers of medical supplies to earthquake ravaged Haiti.
